lomiri: maliit-keyboard keys missing icons

The osk maliit-keyboard has issues loading icons for special keys, such as the shift or enter key. The letters on the keyboard load fine.

All icons load in maliit-keyboard

What's the current behaviour?

Icons only load occasionally

How to reproduce your issue?

Bring up maliit-keyboard under Lomiri

What device are you using?

motorola-harpia (But this should affect all devices.)

On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

• edge (feature/lomiri branch)

• v23.12

• v23.06

• I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

On what environment did you encounter the issue?

Environments

• GNOME Shell on Mobile

How did you get postmarketOS image?

• from https://images.postmarketos.org
• I built it using pmbootstrap
• It was preinstalled on my device

Additional information

The icons are able to load occasionally after multiple starts of the keyboard, so it seems that the fonts are available, yet the maliit-keyboard seems to be unable to load them for a few minutes after boot.
