lomiri: desktop devices cannot handle input devices correctly

Describe your issue

On devices that are either missing a Lomiri deviceinfo file or have devicetype desktop, mouse pointer location can reset to the center of the screen or inputs can entirely disconnect and reconnect intermittently.

It also seems that past Mir 2.15(?) mouse and keyboard do not work at all on desktop devices. (Needs more testing as I only have one desktop device for testing.)

Inputs work.

Inputs do not work and get dropped or lost.

How to reproduce your issue?

Start Lomiri on a device with devicetype desktop.

What device are you using?

Not a specific device, but all the desktop devices I have tested.

On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

• edge (feature/lomiri branch)

• v23.12

• v23.06

• I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

On what environment did you encounter the issue?

Environments

• GNOME Shell on Mobile
• Phosh
• Plasma Mobile

How did you get postmarketOS image?

• from https://images.postmarketos.org
• I built it using pmbootstrap
• It was preinstalled on my device

Additional information

This might be an issue with Mir 2.15 and Qtmir, but it could also be an issue with our packaging. Reporting this here before assuming anything.

Logs also do not show any information on the dropping of inputs.
