oneplus6: headphones not detected / cannot be selected manually

@ollieparanoid this is currently in the systemd-upstreaming milestone, was that on purpose or an accident? (it seems unrelated to systemd upstreaming to me, but want to confirm)

I'm getting my headphones recognized in 24.04 and the microphone input works but the output is on the speaker, although output clearly says headphones. The headphones are also tested and working. Any ideas? :)

This is still a problem (at least until pulseaudio is completely replaced by pipewire), but a workaround is to set the output of the wanted app to headphones in pavucontrol. This works also when the headphones are not detected.

I cannot use the jack when I connect the earphones.

If I force it manually in pulsemixer no sound.

pavucontrol shows unplugged.

The EnumRoute shows that those routes are detected as being available (`"available"` goes from "no" to "yes" in your logs). This sounds like something pmOS might need to fix in their policy.

Relabelling this based on recent comment suggesting that it's still reproducible on Edge (v24.06 is no longer supported).

Kernel linux-postmarketos-qcom-sdm845-6.13.0_rc2-r0 has broken audio.

But when i connected an headset I could see the it detected it.
This does not happen with other kernels but the rest works there.

At some point I could hear some very disturbed noise from the headset that seemed the same regardless of what it was playing.

This sounds like something pmOS might need to fix in their policy

OS: postmarketOS v24.12 aarch64

This issue is still present on 24.12 on Phosh,Gnome Shell Mobile, and sxmo. Working fine on KDE Plasma Mobile oddly enough.
