Audio issues during calls with Oneplus 6T

What's the expected behaviour?

A consistant audio with working Earpiece and Speakers.

What's the current behaviour?

Right now, only the first call after rebooting my device have a working sound through the earpiece (trying to enable the speaker or get the sound through bluetooth device does not work). Subsequent calls will have broken audio: no audio output or a heavily distorted one. In both case, my counterpart seems to hear me. Note that even if the device is locked between the boot and the first call, the later will always be working correctly. I'm using phosh with pipewire (I had already some issues with pulse, but I don't know if it was exactly the same).

How to reproduce your issue?

Trying to call someone for the first time after a reboot: everything should be okay. Try multiple subsequent calls, it will always have one of the issue I mentioned.

On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

  • I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

How did you get postmarketOS image?

What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)

I built and flashed a 24.06 image with pmbootstrap, and then switched to edge through postmarketos-release-upgrade. I did this because calls audio was already broken on 24.06 (I don't know if the behaviour was exactly the same before switching to edge though).

Additional information

I don't exactly know what should I put here in my case, but I'll gladly share some logs if necessary !
