Minimum brightness is fully black [affects multiple devices]
Describe your issue
When dimming the screen (manually or with automatic screen brightness), the screen is able to go completely black. It is very annoying, as it typically requires a reboot to fix (more on this below). Also, it has made me stop using auto brightness, otherwise the screen will just be black if I wake up the phone in the dark.
What's the expected behaviour?
When dimming the screen (manually or with automatic screen brightness), the minimum value should be very dim, but not completely black.
What's the current behaviour?
When dimming the screen (manually or with automatic screen brightness), the minimum value is completely black. This makes it so you can't see anything on the screen, even in a pitch-black room. In most cases it forces me to reboot, unless I drag the brightness slider all the way to the left, watch it go black, and then move it back to the right, all without removing my finger. It seems like the screen may not even accept new touch inputs, after it goes completely black; If I remove my finger after it goes black, put my finger back down where it was on the screen, and then drag the slider back to the right, nothing happens.
How to reproduce your issue?
Drag the brightness slider all the way to the left (dimmest). The screen should turn completely black.
