openssh-server: connection doesn't close when powering off

How did you get postmarketOS image?

• from https://images.postmarketos.org
• I built it using pmbootstrap
• It was preinstalled on my device

What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)

I have noticed the same thing

added release-edge label

I've reproduced this on the Librem 5 as well.

fyi this issue doesn't occur on the systemd branch. maybe just using openssh-pam (and enabling UsePAM in sshd_config) is enough if there's some logind magic, anyone want to test?

is there anything useful in the sshd log?

Where can we get the log?

I can't quickly reproduce this with qemu on v24.12:

• pmbootstrap install --password=123456
• pmbootstrap qemu
• ssh -p 2222 127.0.0.1

qemu-amd64:~$ sudo poweroff
doas (user@qemu-amd64) password: 
qemu-amd64:~$ Connection to 127.0.0.1 closed by remote host.
Connection to 127.0.0.1 closed.

Was anything else started via ssh, like maybe a tmux session?
