Oneplus 6t pipewire changing audio source makes no sound to come.

Describe your issue

When i change the audio source to any other source than speaker it mutes the audio, i think it mutes the microphone as well, but not tested.

What's the expected behaviour?

Plug in your headphones and listen to audio, listen to audio when call comes even after first call.

What's the current behaviour?

Plug in your headphones. Change audio sources at first there is audio then change audio source again, no sound at all. Call comes. First plays good, then after second call no sound at all from the earpiece. Seems that all other audio sources than speaker is muted.

I have installed postmarketos-base-ui-audio-pipewire package for pipewire. Pipewire fixes Waydroid garbled sound.

@fraolt as you are looking into sdm845 audio topics, could you have a look here as well?

I'm currently guiding @sulu in #3320 . Let's see if they can find the root cause and, if so, if this issue has the same root cause which I think is very likely the case.

Audio on the device list should definitely have Audio marked as Partial instead of Works. In it's current form it's definitely partially working instead of fully. I did experience garbled sound issues after two switches of output when using Pulseaudio. With Pipewire it's just muted instead of garbled.

Now the audio works when headphones are plugged in for earpiece and speaker, but not for the headphones.

Phosh audio settings seems to ignore the headphones mic and switches audio output to headphones mic instead, also the headphones mic seems to be configured as the headphones and not headphone mic instead. When i set the audio from gnome-settings to output as headphones there is no audio coming from those.

Apparently using bt headphones fixes the audio for the earpiece, but when disconnecting the headphones the earpiece returns to it's normally buggy behaviour where it loses audio after first call.

Is everything controlled from q6voiced service or how does the whole audio system work?
