Installation instructions for Ouya do not work

I followed the instructions in the Wiki to try and install pmOS on an Ouya but they did not work. The boot menu does not boot properly when placing the kernel image in /sdcard/altboot.img and instead goes to failsafe mode.

Also, the instructions for updating the kernel don't seem to make sense. The instructions include $ mount /dev/mmcblk1p3 /system but the pmOS installation described above that section overwrites mmcblk1p3 with two partitions, making mmcblk1p3p1 and mmcblk1p3p2. As I understand it, these instructions can never work.
