Alpine's APKBUILDs have a lot of Contributor: lines. We have decided to remove them from pmaports at some point, as usually they only pointed at people who no historically worked on the APKBUILDs but are not interested anymore in getting contacted about them. For this information we already have the git log. This was years ago, since then some Contributor: lines have been added again. In https://docs.postmarketos.org/policies-and-processes/governance/team-meetings/meeting-notes.html#id3 the idea was brought up to bring them back officially, but with a different purpose and name: > * have a contributor line if somebody would be fine with having them contacted about the device, not just for who historically worked on it (we have git log for that) > * rename to “Support:” or “Help:” or “Contact:” to make the new purpose clear We decided in the meeting to wait if Alpine makes a decision in a [related TSC issue](https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/tsc/-/issues/88), or wait a month and then just implement the change. In the team meeting on Monday we talked about it again and decided to wait a bit longer (another month or so) for a potential TSC meeting, as this is not an urgent topic.
