With the [removal of onboard from Alpine](https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/commit/6c6e172206a714a07e83112629e79c4c231371bb), this puts the X11 desktop packages in a weird place. The configs shipped with them are very opinionated, specifically designed to make them generally usable as mobile UIs. Without onboard, using any of the desktops in that manner is rendered impossible. Thus, something has to be done to fix this: 1. Switch to a different keyboard implementation. matchbox-keyboard is packaged in Alpine, but xvkbd and maybe maliit-keyboard are potential options as well. 2. Remove the opinionated configs and make the desktops stock desktop UIs for usage with workstations. 3. Remove the UIs all-together since they don't work with their original purpose for being added.
