Dunno why gitlab is fooling with me, it wouldn't let me fork originally, created a blank repository for me and then I had to import, and then it was giving me a 500 error when making the MRs and got the title wrong here. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I fixed the only error I could find in my changes, the other errors codespell pointed out were already existing in blog posts etc... I don't know to pass the pipeline test.

Uh, this is really nice! I think we had at some point a contribution page in the wiki, but having something like this in the website is amazing, thanks a lot for working on it! I'm unfortunately no expert on this part of the project, and people responsible are a bit busy lately, so might take a bit to get proper reviews, sorry for that!

Well didn't happen fall break ofc since I had lots of hw, but anyways, did finally got around to it. Implemented all the changes and resolved the relevant threads. I left the threads that required doing some change to the wiki - I've just sent in an account request to the wiki.

Summary:

• Cleaned up chats
• Fixed Tell your friends > videos
• Removed some see also links
• Re-ordered and combine some sections in a more sensible and organized manner
• Redesigned the Upstream section
  • Changed the featured projects
  • Added project cards
• Renamed to contribute instead of contributing

Another thing - I'm straight up just assuming there's no legal issues with the project cards, I didn't ask for permission with the projects. If there is a problem with this, then can definitely remove. Happy to go do the work of checking if needed.

Thanks for all the work you put into this! We are at the hackathon right now and @pabloyoyoista brought up that this is still not merged, so we finished it up together, replacing old wiki text etc.

This may not be perfect, but it is good enough as initial version that we can merge and if needed, make small iterative changes later on.

Oh lovely! I was gonna hopefully get around to modifying the wiki etc..., but school, homework, and stuff started etc... so thanks a lot! Enjoy the hackathon! I definetly gotta go to FOSSDEM one day...
