postmarketos-android-recovery-installer failed while flashing zip via TWRP

What's the expected behaviour?

Zip installation via TWRP should not cause any issues.

What's the current behaviour?

Zip installation failed.

How to reproduce your issue?

pmbootstrap install --android-recovery-zip && pmbootstrap export.

Then copy the generated file into the device and try to flash via TWRP.

What device are you using?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

• edge (master branch)

On what environment did you encounter the issue?

Not rellevant.

How did you get postmarketOS image?

• I built it using pmbootstrap

What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)

2021-10-06.

Additional information

This commit solves the issue, however it's not applied: https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/postmarketos-android-recovery-installer/-/commit/3af183986049565d4a1457358bda94be42e144fa

So that causes this error.

Perhaps postmarketos-android-recovery-installer needs a new release? https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/postmarketos-android-recovery-installer/-/tags
The last release was 7 months ago, while the mentioned commit was made 1 month ago.

Yes, this leads to error 1 in twrp and you need to flash boot.img seperately for it to work, else pmOS will use the android kernel.
