Unable to do pmbootstrap install, /dev/installp2 already in use

Trying to run pmbootstrap install --sdcard /dev/sda on fedora 36. Using !3329 (diffs) (but a few local mods and nicely rebased to master so "current" as of Sep 8, 2022), device-motorola-surnia, phosh ui.

Expect that it will install.

Fails to use /dev/installp2

motorola-surnia

• edge (master branch)
• I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo yum upgrade
• Phosh
• I built it using pmbootstrap

Maybe automount is causing the problem. Am trying steps here: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/20107 (for Gnome).

to disable per user, run as my user (not root):

$ gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.media-handling automount false
$ gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.media-handling automount-open false 
$ systemctl restart gdm.service # required auth

Not sure if things are better actually... now I get a different error:

[23:07:53] ERROR: Unable to find the first partition of /dev/sda, expected it to be at /dev/sda1!

I am using a macbookpro with fedora 36, a usb-c adapter thing, a usb-a card adapter with an sdcard adapter in there. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in and now /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2 are detected again and all is well.

Problem solved by disabling automount in gnome. :)
