pine64-pinephone: RTC boots phone from powered-off state which then drains battery uselessly
Describe your issue
In megi's 6.1 kernel, this commit allows the RTC to turn on the phone even when it's powered off.
I use FDE, so this means the phone boots to osk-sdl and then just sits there until it drains the battery fully.
I have alarms in gnome-clock that had caused the RTC to be set, but I had turned off my phone with the expectation that it would not boot. I don't know what regular smartphones do so I don't know if my expectation was right or not, but regardless it's not useful to boot if all it does is sit at the disk unlock screen.
Perhaps there could be some openrc service that runs before shutdown and clears the RTC, and FDE users can choose to enable it.
How to reproduce your issue?
Set /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm
manually or through gnome-clocks + waked.
