No audio on edge after upgrade (pulseaudio)

Update

This likely affects anyone using pulseaudio, and isn't UI or device specific.

Audio is not working, In GNOME Settings/Sound I see "No output devices" under Input and Output sections.

How to reproduce your issue?

Run a fully updated pmOS edge installation on oneplus-enchilada.

What device are you using?

oneplus-enchilada

On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

• edge (master branch)

• v23.12

• v24.06

• I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

On what environment did you encounter the issue?

How did you get postmarketOS image?

• from https://images.postmarketos.org
• I built it using pmbootstrap
• It was preinstalled on my device

What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)

Additional information

I tried rebooting the device.

On the postmarketOS matrix channel, it was suggested that this issue might be related to !5163 (merged)

logread shows the following error:
