Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 8-inch WiFi (xiaomi-clover, not clover-plus) display not turning on on boot.

What's the expected behaviour?

Splash screen loaded before GUI is loaded

What's the current behaviour?

Some line of text was dispalyed before the display fade to black in 1 second.

How to reproduce your issue?

Install latest build to an sd card and boot using pmbootstrap flasher boot. Use clover kernel variant (not clover-plus)

What device are you using?

Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 (xiaomi-clover) WiFi only model (SDA660, 8 inch).

On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

• edge (master branch)

• v24.06

• v23.12 (supported until 2024-07-16)

• I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

On what environment did you encounter the issue?

Environments

• GNOME Shell on Mobile
• Phosh
• Plasma Mobile
• Sxmo (Wayland/Sway) Please post the output of sxmo_version.sh
• Other: Sxmo-de-dwm

How did you get postmarketOS image?

• from https://images.postmarketos.org
• I built it using pmbootstrap
• It was preinstalled on my device

What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)

Time build was 2024-06-23, 6am UTC+8.

Additional information

Home directory /home/user only contain .profile, .xsession. No other directory or files. Checked the sd card running sxmo-de-dwm. Cannot SSH to it hence no log/dmesg.
