screen never wakes up after being locked, even pushing buttons

    What's the expected behaviour?

    after being locked, screen wakes up by pushing eg power button

    What's the current behaviour?

    screen doesnt wakes up

    How to reproduce your issue?

    just install latest edge version on the device

    What device are you using?

    samsung and g530fz

    On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

    • edge (master branch)

    • v24.06

    • v23.12 (supported until 2024-07-16)

    • I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

    On what environment did you encounter the issue?

    Environments

    • GNOME Shell on Mobile
    • Phosh
    • Plasma Mobile
    • Sxmo (Wayland/Sway) Please post the output of sxmo_version.sh

    How did you get postmarketOS image?

    What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)

    Additional information

    vol buttons makes sound heard clearly, means only the screen is affected

    edit: even with linux-fumos-qcom-msm8916-6.9_p20240713162424-r0.apk installed, it doesnt wakes up edit2: i confirm this bug isnt present in v24.06 stable version
