iwd does not work with current linux-gogole-kukui kernel

    Describe your issue

    Did a new install with pmbootstrap for google-krane/ gerneric port google-kukui. Selected edge and iwd as wifi-backend.

    What's the expected behaviour?

    Wifi is working with iwd

    What's the current behaviour?

    Wifi device is found, but no networks are displayed

    How to reproduce your issue?

    do a new install and select iwd

    What device are you using?

    google-krane

    google-kukui

    On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

    • edge (master branch)

    • v24.06

    • v23.12 (supported until 2024-07-16)

    • I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

    On what environment did you encounter the issue?

    Environments

    • GNOME Shell on Mobile
    • Phosh
    • Plasma Mobile
    • Sxmo (Wayland/Sway) Please post the output of sxmo_version.sh
    • Other: GNOME desktop

    How did you get postmarketOS image?

    What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)

    Additional information

    Wifi works wirh wpa_supplicant

    #1379 and the other "move from wpa_supplicant to iwd" issues have a clear goal of all main/community devices to work with iwd.
