lint warnings for .patch file

CI is rejecting a .patch file because of lint errors (See !852, specifically https://gitlab.com/popsdylan/pmaports/-/jobs/398275128).

This file contains diff output that modifies the package source. I don't see that I can fix the lint errors, as I can modify neither the source nor the diff output format (e.g. diff inserts a blank line with a space in the first column).
