Hildon is broken (QEMU, mesa-swrast, pmos-stable)

While working toward #458 (closed), I noticed the Hildon UI is broken, at least with QEMU, swrast driver and pmos-stable kernel. There is no .xsession-errors file, and no X.Org log in ~/.local (the directory doesn't even exist). On the other hand, i3wm works, so it's not just a X.Org problem. Do you know where I could find error logs?

Since it's started by LightDM, ~/.xsession-errors should normally report all problems. Not sure why it doesn't appear.

Seems to start at least with !1029 (merged) (virt kernel).

The mouse jumps around weirdly for me, was able to avoid that with pmbootstrap qemu --tablet. Only a dark overlay appears when pressing the application menu. Not convinced this is a qemu problem.
