pinephone: calls are broken after the latest upgrades

Hello,

I saw there were kernel upgrades (among other things) when I sudo apk update && sudo apk upgrade -a this morning. After updating, when I make a incoming or outgoing call, the other phone rings. However, the sound coming from the speakers is complete all static.

There is a reason we're going for a stable branch. You shouldn't rely on the edge branch of postmarketOS.

I updated to the latest kernel from pmaports repo and I am still having issues with the audio phone calls.

The latest upgrade partially fixed my phone calls issue. I think it was a consequence of the firmware upgrade.

I say partially because I can only make one phone call. After that one phone call, the old bug returns and I must reboot to make another phone call.

@anjandev: can you test again? I just verified (on v20.05), phone calls work for me, even multiple in a row without rebooting.
