PinePhone pmOS CE should probably ship with a scale-to-fit helper out of the box

The current pmOS (edge) releases for the PinePhone don't appear to ship with any kind of a scale-to-fit script.

I am wondering whether this is planned to ship out of the box in the build that will come with the pmOS CE edition of the PinePhone as it would greatly improve the out of the box experience and overall usability of the system, particularly when trying to use familiar desktop-Linux apps like Firefox.

Longer-term, I think a better system would be a helper that would have a community maintained database of .desktop files to Wayland app ids and could auto-scale most common apps on the user device via a single command, (which is something I am looking into building), but a simple script like the above would be sufficient to ship out of the box on the pmOS CE in my opinion.

Curious what others think/whether this is planned?
