Pinephone randomly freezes

For 5 times in a row now I had Phoc completely freeze, even going so far that it prevented rebooting the phone from SSH. I can't determine what causes it. The first time it happened, it happened after a few hours of using it and having it idle; now it happens after a minute or so on every boot making the device completely unusable.
