Ring terminal when asking for user input

This is an enhancement, so I don't think there is much need to post a log here.

I do believe that it'd be helpful to have the terminal ring or do some other attention grabbing thing when something which requires user intervention occurs. Much of the process is waiting for things to install and flash, etc. I do believe that it'd be very helpful to ring the terminal or do some other attention grabbing thing so the user can go and do something else in the meantime instead of babysitting the install process.
