Flashing santos10wifi on SM-T210(Lite) or GT-F5210 freezes and system, recovery and download is gone, almost bricked.
System OS: Vanilla Arch with a WM (awesomewm) GUI: X11 Kernel: Linux ArchGamer 6.8.4-arch1-1 #1 (closed) SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri, 05 Apr 2024 00:14:23 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux pmbootstrap version: 2.2.1 (from arch repo)
Only error on 'pmbootstrap init':

Run 'pmbootstrap log' for details.
Before you report this error, ensure that pmbootstrap is up to date. Find the latest version here: https://git.sr.ht/~postmarketos/pmbootstrap/refs Your version: 2.2.1'
I did fix from: #2228 as 'Gergely Bódi' said. As this overrides any code in that function, this might be the problem but my skill on this is too basic to know.
After the flash I can't get the unit to boot at all not system, recovery or download. Used heimdall to recover stock ROM to get system/recovery and DL to work, this by downloading the PIT-file. Tried plenty of times and the flash always freezes at about 3% when running: 'pmbootstrap flasher flash_rootfs'.
'pmbootstrap init' parameters: (from an old 2021 post at xda-developer)
'pmbootstrap init Work path: ~/.pmbootstrap Channel: edge Vendor: samsung Device codename: santos10wifi (choose this even if you have a 3G or LTE tablet) Enable Wi-Fi firmware Username: santos (choose a name you like) User interface: weston (currently only weston is the most usable UI, X11-based UIs are very laggy) Don't change additional options Extra packages: vim, htop, onboard (recommended, but optional) Enable your timezone Choose your default locale (en_US.UTF-8 for American English) Device hostname: santos10wifi (choose a hostname you like) Copy public SSH keys (recommended if you have generated a pair but optional) Build outdated packages during 'pmbootstrap install': y'
The only thing I changed from this is UserName and user Interface as there is no 'weston', I used 'xfce'.
Also tried this with the previous 2 kernels and same error.
Bug or something with my system, have no idea.
PS. Have not tried this yet on the GT-N8020
