Moving away from GitHub?

It has been asked a few times, whether postmarketOS could be hosted on an open source platform (GitHub is not open source), such as gitlab - or maybe even go entirely self-hosted.

Personally I am happy with GitHub so far, because it's the lowest entry barrier for contributions to the project. Travis CI also works well for us (Travis is open source), so we would need something similar when moving.

Opinions?
