unl0kr: screen freezes on google-bonito after kernel upgrade

After upgrading the kernel for google-bonito (linux-postmarketos-qcom-sdm670) from 6.12.3 to 6.13.3, the screen froze when rebooting just before the unl0kr prompt would have come up.
This persisted after reflashing the device with pmbootstrap with encryption enabled, but it booted properly after flashing it with encryption disabled.
@rdacayan @rmader Would you know what's going on?

Thanks for the report. The unl0kr-fbforcerefresh package should have been added to dependencies of the Pixel 3a XL device package, now that the kernel upgrade added the full display driver to the initramfs.

How to restore an existing installation

1. Boot the device. After the orange warning screen, hold down Volume Up.
2. Plug the device into USB and connect with telnet 172.16.42.1.
3. In the debug shell, run (may not be the same commands for all installations):

# mount_subpartitions
# wait_root_partition
# cryptsetup open $PMOS_ROOT root
# export PMOS_ROOT=/dev/mapper/root
# mount_root_partition
# chroot /sysroot

4. In the chroot, run:

# openrc sysinit
# apk add unl0kr-fbforcerefresh
# dd if=/boot/boot.img of=/dev/disk/by-partlabel/boot_b
# reboot -f

5. It should reboot at the end. Press Ctrl+] (closing square bracket) and type 'quit'.
