Move all options from pref to defaultPref?

As discussed in the matrix channel, it probably make sense to move everything from pref to defaultPref. Looks like pref was used because I didn't know better initially, but it has the downside that the user cannot override these settings. We need to check if it still works the same way after moving everything over.
