Wierd screen behavior on Mobian CE edition

I guess I should go straight for a RMA, but asking the community before in case someone maybe had such behavior and has a solution...

Yes, pmOS is the first OS this phone booted on (microSD card). The screen acted like shown in the video.

Still I did flash pmOS onto the eMMC and the behavior does persist.

And yes, I used the term RMA as "Return Merchandise Authorization"

I get slight flickering on my mobian ce when I'm on low brightness, but I assume that's not specific to the mobian edition but poor engineering or a software problem, nothing as extreme as in the video.
