Root partition not resized when flashed manually on an SD card

What's the expected behaviour?
Root partition should take up all the remaining space
What's the current behaviour?
Size of the root partition is 2.3 GB.
How to reproduce your issue?
Just flash the image to an SD-card using gnome-disks. I can't expand the partition with my PC because gnome-disk says that filesystem contains unsupported features.

How did you get postmarketOS image?

from https://images.postmarketos.org -
I built it using pmbootstrap -
It was preinstalled on my device
I tried 20231118-1338 image from images.postmarketos.org and today I also tried to build it my myself using pmbootstrap
What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)
