Bad framerate on Redmi Note 7 (lavender)

Describe your issue

System works with a 30 FPS or so framerate on lavender. I tried Plasma Mobile and Phosh and they both have this bug. I also experienced this bug on Droidian, so it might be something kernel-related

What's the expected behaviour?

System works with a 60 FPS framerate.

What's the current behaviour?

System works with a 30 FPS framerate or something close to this number.

How to reproduce your issue?

1. Install PMOS with Plasma Mobile or Phosh
2. Use it

What device are you using?

xiaomi-lavender

On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

• edge (master branch)
• I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

On what environment did you encounter the issue?

Environments

• Phosh
• Plasma Mobile

How did you get postmarketOS image?

• I built it using pmbootstrap

What's the build date of the image? (in yyyy-mm-dd format)

We use a different kernel than Droidian (close-to-mainline instead of the vendor one), so that should not be the case.

I don't measure it, but I can see, that it's not as smooth, as real 60
