Edge mic audio regressions

    What's the expected behaviour?

    Mics would work.

    What's the current behaviour?

    In OBS studio when i check the mic inputs it does not give any sound through.

    How to reproduce your issue?

    Try out the microphones in your preferred application.

    What device are you using?

    Oneplus-fajita

    On what postmarketOS version did you encounter the issue?

    • edge (master branch)

    • v24.12

    • v24.06 (supported until 2025-01-23)

    • I confirm that the issue still is present after running sudo apk upgrade -a

    On what environment did you encounter the issue?

      The audio from the bottom mic seems to pick up sound when you have it switched to the earpiece audio. Sadly this is not really optimal.

      Seems that installing alsa-utils package removes the speaker profile completely. Uninstalling it brings it back.

      Weird. When i have Pavucontrol on the mic gets detected system wide. I wonder if this would fix the call audio as well... Never mind. Audio still distorted when earpiece is set.
