libhybris fails to build for x86

    libhybis is failing to build for x86:

    /usr/lib/gcc/i586-alpine-linux-musl/9.2.0/../../../../i586-alpine-linux-musl/bin/ld: cannot find -lhybris-hwcomposerwindow

    I've seen, that there are extra code paths for x86 in the APKBUILD. So I'm not simply disabling it, although we don't have any x86 devices using it... (or do we?)

    Would somebody like to fix it, or would you prefer if we disable x86?

    libhybris and two packages depending on it are the only three packages preventing the new binary repo to build everything for x86: https://build.postmarketos.org/

      I've never tried to build libhybris for x86 architecture and I'm not even sure it is supported. (Though by reading its configure scripts it seems that it should be, it's x86_64 that clearly isn't.)

      we don't have any x86 devices using it... (or do we?)

      I thought NotKit had some x86 device but I can't remember which one was it.. Gemini PDA seems to be aarch64, samsung-klte armv7 and xiaomi-santoni aarch64. I don't know any other working libhybris-based ports..

      Never tried libhybris on x86, never compiled it on that architecture so I don't know about it.

      If we're sure we currently don't have x86 devices using it, and none of the people with Halium experience here know much about it, I'd say we just drop that architecture for now. We can re-enable it once we have the first device for it.

      Closed with bd487ba8 (is this mechanism broken in gitlab?).

      EDIT: nope, pushed to wrong branch. Now it's in master.
