Plasma-mobile keyboard inoperable and larger than screen on pinephone (edge)

Problem started within last 2 days. A similar issue noted on the manjaro-arm forum: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/manjaro-arm-alpha5-for-pinephone-testing-branch/136614/103 Where the issue is attributed to qt 5.15.0 breaking the keyboard however not much info is given. Alpine recently upgraded to qt 5.15.0 which fits (https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/commit/b4e97de7a095f3fe3087a370e4d307641e494ab5)

Here are some details about what I have experienced related to the OPs reported issue.

Description

Touching a virtual keyboard alphanumeric key causes an application to launch or crashes the virtual keyboard applet depending on which key is pressed.

Expected behaviour

Touching a virtual keyboard alphanumeric key should send appropriate byte sequence to input field.

How to reproduce

1. Open any app with an input field, e.g., the terminal app.
2. If needed, touch the input field to cause the virtual keyboard to appear
3. Touch the letter 'e'
4. The Trojitá email client opens

Well, good that we have the stable channel now: use this as workaround until it's resolved in edge.

@bshah: any advice on fixing this in edge?

Note that with Plasma 5.20 (which is due soon ) the entire keyboard will be replaced anyway. I've already made preparations for that and packaged the new required stuff, just needs the new Plasma release.
