Regular upgrade of v6.1 to 6.1.7.
Marked as draft until tested on my daily driven PPP.
The reason I upgraded to 6.1.7 through a kernel.org patch is to keep the gitlab source close to where the ppp-drivers and ppp-dt patches come from.
