Two simple usability improvements that are useful when testing other X11 UIs on the device, e.g. sxmo-de-dwm (or even AwesomeWM, which I'm using these days)

Although late submissions, I would like to request their inclusion in v24.12. Especially the 'lock.sh' issue affects sxmo-de-dwm images that are built on bpo, for example
