lg-bullhead showing black screen after pmos logo in xfce DE
i can't add any logs from cmd as gitlab give me a recapcha with out any image.
i tried "initramfs" with line by line but dose not understand anything.
what works?
- telnet working.
- booting logo is showing.
not working?
- ssh
- no DE as i flashed with xfce.

If you want to debug the non-working UIs, we'd need the output of
logread(connect via SSH, then execute that command and paste the output to a pastebin site like bpaste.net, then post it here).WARNING: package msm-fb-refresher: aport version 0.1-r3 is lower than 0.2-r0 from the binary repository. 0.2-r0 will be used when installing msm-fb-refresher.
This means, that your local copy of pmaports.git is out if date. The msm-fb-refresher package had a newer version already, which was used from the binary repository. This is nothing to worry about if you did not work on msm-fb-refresher locally. You can update your local copy of pmaports with:

today i booted in debug shell and tried to mount the boot partition but there is nothing named fstab in etc folder. (i am now in telnet)

@ollieparanoid but how to comment out the boot partition ? as in here Can ping to device, but SSH says "connection refused

I have updated the instructions to make it more clear (after reading the related issue again). I'm afraid this won't fix your issue though, because if that was the reason (fsck failing), then it should have been fixed by flashing again.
To understand why the DE is not showing, we need the output from the
logreadcommand. I see that it is hard to get this output without having SSH working. If you want to put some work into it, maybe you could write a daemon script that writes the output of logread to the home dir, so you can read it from telnet. But that's hard to do and I'd recommend to focus on getting USB networking going instead.I've looked at the initial PR here. It seems that SSH was never working, only telnet worked, just as you described. @PureTryOut had some ideas for changing kernel options to make it work, but ran into kernel compilation issues. I'd recommend to try this again. With help from the #postmarketOS channel, you might be able to resolve the kernel compilation problems and it might work then.

thanks. it will be not possible to to see home dir from telnet as in debugmood the home dir is not mounted.
can you tell me where the logread output from .like which file . dmsg is not that important?
also that is odd that some DE boots some don't. like why none DE dose not boot.
i will look at kernel options but my knowdlege is vrey poor. for now i only know that linux kernel build by linus.ha ha.

i think i did not waited for weston to boot. for other i did waited for long time.
@PureTryOut did you tried other DE? leave the mate DE as it boots fine here. and how much storage your device have? my one 32gb.

I did not have to wait long at all before Weston appeared. I think it appeared inside 10 seconds of booting the device.
I did not try other DE's no, but since you said Weston did not work for you either, I figured this was enough to show you it's something specific to your device. My device has 32GB storage as well, not sure why that would be related though.
