Autostart upgrade app by default

We want to explictly tell the user that a new update is available and they should upgrade, otherwise they will not get any updates anymore. But if a user - for whatever reason - decides to explicitly ignore the update their wish should be honored. So a way to ignore the autostart was also added.

Adjust the existing code so we're getting our wanted behavior.
