This should probably only be merged after Tow-Boot has had a first official release for the PinePhone Pro. Currently builds can be downloaded from a pull request and can be considered stable but it will leave a bit of a bad impression on users if we don't point them to a proper release. A first official release with PPP support has been made!

    Thank you very much for drafting the blog post. I've updated the post and ended up rewriting it fully, with the aim to explain precisely what users need to do and what happens if they just attempt to upgrade or just install tow-boot without reinstalling. I've also updated related wiki documentation.

    Please review.

    I'll verify that installing to SD and eMMC works as described in the wiki article over the next days, then this can finally be merged together with https://gitlab.com/postmarketOS/pmaports/-/merge_requests/2870 (see the todo list there in the last comment).

    Done with testing, and except for FDE (pmaports#1477) it worked as expected. Given that the PPP is still in the testing category, I think this is acceptable for now. Help with fixing FDE is appreciated.

    Slightly changed the post to have the date set to today and to announce that we will merge the pmaports MR on Wednesday, so in two days. This has been open for over a month and I think we all want to get this done, so I'll merge this announcement now.
