v21.06 service pack 1

Creating a new issue for what to do in the first service pack of v21.06. The firewall has two important issues open that need to be resolved before we can push it to a stable branch, so let's not make it part of the release, but part of the first service pack instead. Once v21.06 (the release) is out, we probably find a few more things to add to the service pack.

• Firewall:

  • fix #1125 (closed) Firewall breaks networking in Anbox part of v21.06 release already
  • implement #1119 (closed) Build all main and community devices with firewall enabled
  • Backport all firewall related patches to v21.06.1 MR

• New Sxmo release 1.5: ping Sxmo folks ~2 weeks before releasing the SP to coordinate (see #1123 (comment 608543687))

• Bluetooth:

  • Supervise Bluetooth daemon to restore Bluetooth functionality if the daemon crashes: https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/merge_requests/22662

• New postmarketos-tweaks release with support for theming osk-sdl

(@MartijnBraam: can you tag a new release and update the pmaports package? I suggest doing this more quickly in the future, so people can actually use the new stuff. for mobile-config-firefox for example, I usually test and merge a bunch of MRs / do own enhancements and then make a release either the same day or just a few days later.)

@ollieparanoid @dylanvanassche I don't think we should include the obex bluetooth stuff in the service pack. The current patch for it depends on postmarketos-base-ui (which doesn't exist in v21.06). I don't think it's worth backporting all of that to the stable release and risking regressions, just to add this one feature.

Fine for me! Let's keep all my Bluetooth goodies for the next release :) I have a better fix for broken bluetooth on boot, currently under review at aports: https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/merge_requests/23489

But I would include it in a next release though :)

What's the procedure now we upstreamed the packages to Alpine? I assume we prepare packages in edge in Alpine and then make copies to backports/sxmo in this v21.06.1 branch?

yes, basically. we put all the packages backported in temp right now (though I like the idea of having a "backports" dir, maybe that would be nice for the future).

I'm preparing a merge request for Sxmo 1.5.0 to Alpine Linux here: https://gitlab.alpinelinux.org/alpine/aports/-/merge_requests/23729 , after that is completed and accepted, we can copy all changes to the v21.06.1 branch for the service pack.

it's minor enough that I went ahead and included those in the release. the MR adding waked and support for it in gnome-clocks has been in edge for >3 weeks. thanks for the suggestion!
